COVID-19: Mumbai`s daily deaths drop; Maharashtra`s cases rise to 60,000+

The situation in the state, however, remained worrisome. State health department registered 66,358 new cases on Tuesday and 895 fatalities, the highest death toll in Maharashtra since the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus last year.
